Uigr “linked” to North Korean nuclear program due to misappropriation of US arbitration and restoration of ROK-Japan relations

-by Kim Jong-chan, political economy reporter

The US State Department is trying to link Uygr negotiations to the North Korean nuclear program as attempts to restore strategic alliances between South Korea and Japan have been unsuccessful due to Chinese pressure.
Right after the meeting of the G7 Foreign Ministers in London, US Secretary of State Tony Blincoln said in an interview with the BBC on the 6th that, instead of making a choice between the United States and China, “we must be careful with the investments made by China”. Revealed.
Minister Blincoln's remarks aimed at controlling China's large-scale investments expanding to the Western world appear to be strengthened by the conservative Anglo-Saxon alliance of capitalism.
Prior to this, Minister Blincoln arranged for a meeting with the Korea-Japan Foreign Ministers right after the three National Assembly meetings with Foreign Minister Eui-yong Eui-yong and Japanese Foreign Minister Motegi Toshimitsu using the G7 Foreign Ministers' Meeting on the 5th. I took it.

Regarding the Korea-Japan talks, Scott Snyder, head of the US Foreign Relations Association's ROK-US policy chief, commented on the Voice of the United States (VOA) on the 5th, "If the two countries do not listen to each other's concerns better, it will be very difficult to make progress."
Minister Blincoln said in an interview with the Financial Times on the 5th, "We are involved with China in a variety of fields. We are now working on returning to the JCPOA (Iran Nuclear Agreement) while being involved in Iran issues with them (China). Without a doubt, there will be discussions on North Korea and North Korea's nuclear program in the future.” To China's negotiations, he said, “We have very diverse fields that clearly have overlapping interests and are involved in each other.” And the negotiations on the suppression of ethnic minorities in the Uyghurs.
At a press conference immediately after the British-American Foreign Ministers' meeting on the 3rd, Minister Blincoln said, "Our purpose is not to suppress China, but to maintain order based on international norms. If this is damaged, we will stand up and defend order." "We will continue to cooperate with the UK to respond to the atrocities in China."

US President Biden previously announced the withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan in April, and in response to the subsequent withdrawal of NATO forces, China expressed concerns about the arming of Xinjiang minority rebels.
The Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The security situation in Afghanistan is still complicated and severe, and the terror problem has not been resolved." "The withdrawal of foreign troops from Afghanistan should be carried out in a responsible and orderly manner, and terrorist organizations should not take advantage of this chaos to gain power." On April 15th, he made a statement saying that the US and NATO forces withdrew from Afghanistan over concerns about linkages between Xinjiang and Afghanistan arming rebels.
The Yomiuri Shimbun said on the 7th, "The Japanese government's face-to-face meeting with Japan and South Korea in the face-to-face meeting of the two countries is in response to the efforts of the US government, Joe Biden, who emphasizes trilateral cooperation through North Korea policy, etc. unless relations between the two countries turn to improvement. "Because you can pour cold water," he reported.
A report in front of the Voice of the United States (VOA) revealed about the meeting of the Ministers of Korea and Japan, "We decided to cooperate on the North Korean nuclear issue at the meeting, but only differences in positions were confirmed in the Korean court's forced conscription and the judgment of compensation for comfort women." Reported a commentary of "an extension of the Biden government's efforts to create an opportunity to continue high-level contact between the United States and Japan and Korea."
