브레이크뉴스 노보림 기자= 전국장애인차별철폐연대(전장연)가 20일 서울 지하철 탑승 시위를 재개했다.
전장연은 20일 오전 8시부터 시청역 2호선 승강장 당산역 방향에서 '제55차 출근길 지하철 탑니다' 시위를 진행했다.
이들은 지난 9월 25일 "장애인 관련 예산 통과가 결정되는 11월 13일까지 출근길 시위를 멈추겠다"고 선언한지 56일 만에 다시 시위를 재개한 것이다.
안 그래도 출근시간대 붐비는 지하철 승강장에 전장연 활동가들과 이들을 제지하기 위한 기동대 4개 부대와 서울교통공사(서교공) 직원들이 몰리면서 시청역 승강장은 극심한 혼잡을 빚었다.
박경석 전장연 상임공동대표는 "지난 9월 윤석열 정부가 2024년 예산을 편성할 때 장애인 이동권이 반영된 예산을 요구했지만 응답이 없다"며 "결국 윤 대통령의 반성은 속임수와 시간 끌기였고, 윤석열 대통령과 국민의힘은 중증장애인을 이용해 사회적 약자 정치적 쇼만 했다"고 비판했다.
그러면서 "장애인도 지역사회에서 함께 살아가고 싶다는 말을 전달하기 위해 55차 출근길 선전을 하고 있다"고 주장했다.

양측은 양보없는 대치를 이어가다 오전 9시경을 넘어 전장연 활동가들이 목에 건 피켓 등을 빼자 경찰과 서교동 관계자들이 이들이 지하철 에 탑승할 수 있도록 길을 열어주면서 상황이 정리됐다.
다만 목에서 피켓을 빼지않은 박경석 대표는 탑승이 제지됐고, 이를 항의하는 과정에서 여성활동가 1명이 업무방해 혐의로 현행범 체포되기도 했다.
아울러 전장연은 다음 시위 일정을 예고하기도 했다. 박경석 대표는 "오세훈 서울시장이 만약 대화에 나선다면 출근길 시위를 하지 않겠다"면서 "그러나 만약 이런 변화가 없다면 56차 출근길 지하철 탑승 시위를 12월1일에 진행한다"고 밝혔다.
