기독교복음선교회 광명교회 관계자는 "선교회의 핵심교리인 30개론 말씀은 문자신앙을 벗어난 지극히 정상적이고 합리적인 내용을 담고 있음에도 선교회 반대 세력과 언론에 의해 마치 정명석 목사의 성범죄를 정당화 하는 교리인양 왜곡됐다"라고 전했다.
