[브레이크뉴스경기남부=용인 이귀선기자] 용인특례시(시장 이상일)가 문화재청 공모사업인 ‘2024년 지역문화유산 활용사업’에 선정됐다.
공모사업에 선정된 프로그램은 ‘생생 문화유산’, ‘고택·종갓집 활용사업’, ‘향교·서원 문화유산 활용사업’이다.
문화재청이 주관하는 ‘지역 문화유산 활용사업’은 전국의 문화유산과 자연유산, 무형유산이 가진 가치와 의미를 교육하고, 문화·관광 콘텐츠로 개발해 지역 활성화를 지원하기 위해 마련됐다.
‘경기도 기념물 44호’로 지정된 처인성을 중심으로 고려시대 대몽항쟁을 다룬 교육프로그램 콘텐츠인 ‘생생 문화유산 활용사업’은 지난 2015년부터 10회 연속 문화재청 공모사업에 선정됐다.
아울러 음애공파 고택에서 음애 이자 선생의 삶과 역사를 체험할 수 있는 교육프로그램인 ‘고택·종갓집 활용사업’은 지난 2017년부터 올해까지 8회에 걸쳐 공모사업에 선정됐다.
심곡서원과 충렬서원, 양지향교에서 진행되는 ‘향교·서원 문화유산 활용사업’은 용인특례시의 대표적 인물인 포은 정몽주와 정암 조광조의 선비정신을 체험할 수 있는 프로그램으로, 지난 2018년부터 7회에 걸쳐 문화재청 공모사업에 선정됐다.
시 관계자는 “지역의 특색있는 문화유산을 활용한 교육프로그램을 기획해 시민들이 더 넓은 문화를 향유하고, 지역경제와 관광 활성화로 효과가 확대될 수 있도록 노력하겠다”고 말했다.
