현대차, 전국택시엽합회와 모빌리티 서비스 플랫폼 구축 업무협약

현대자동차는 6일 서울 강남구에 위치한 전국택시연합회관에서 현대차 TaaS본부 송창현 사장, 전국택시운송사업조합연합회 박복규 회장 등 양측 관계자들이 참석한 가운데, ‘수요응답형 기반 통합 MaaS 플랫폼 및 택시 산업 발전을 위한 전략적 제휴협약(MOU)’을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 MOU는 현대차의 수요응답형 모빌리티 플랫폼인 ‘셔클’의 서비스 확대와 통합 MaaS 플랫폼 구축을 위해 추진됐다. 양측은 플랫폼 생태계에서 택시 산업의 지속가능한 발전을 도모하기 위해 협력할 예정이다.

 

현대차는 대중교통 환승이 가능한 수요응답형 교통(DRT: Demand Responsive Transport) 서비스와 공유 퍼스널 모빌리티를 연동한 셔클 플랫폼에 택시까지 연계하는 시스템을 구축해 고객들이 셔클 앱 하나로 더욱 다양한 교통수단을 이용할 수 있도록 할 계획이다.

 

특히, 이 과정에서 무료 택시호출 서비스, 통합 요금제 등 택시업계가 수익을 창출할 수 있는 시스템을 갖추고 택시업계의 신규 서비스 런칭 및 사업모델 개발을 지원하는 등 다양한 상생 방안을 마련한다.

 

전국택시연합회는 1654개에 달하는 전국의 법인 택시업체들이 셔클 플랫폼을 통해 서비스를 제공하며 새로운 사업에 도전할 수 있도록 적극적으로 나설 예정이다.

한편, 현대차가 2021년 선보인 국내 첫 인공지능 수요응답형 교통수단 서비스 셔클은 공유 킥보드, 자율주행 로보셔틀 등 다양한 이동 서비스를 제공하낟. 국내 최초로 DRT 서비스에 대중교통 환승할인을 적용해 버스·지하철 등 대중교통과의 연계성도 높였다.

 

셔클 서비스는 현재 세종시, 파주시 등에서 운영 중이며 다양한 지자체들과 협의를 통해 서비스 지역을 전국적으로 확대한다는 계획이다.
