윤석열 대통령이 28일 "산업이란 건 과학기술 기반으로 경제적 가치를 창출하는 것과 관련된 일"이라며 "경제적 가치가 충분히 있을 만한 개연성있는 과학기술·미래전략기술을 정부가 개발하는 데 앞장서야 한다"고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령은 이날 청와대 영빈관에서 열린 2023 과학기술정보통신부·개인정보보호위원회·원자력안전위원회 합동 연두 업무보고에서 "국민들 과학 교육·과학 인재 양성 등 국가적 미래를 위한 역할을 하는 곳"이라며 이같이 밝혔다.
