대통령실이 19일 지난 15일 생방송된 '국정과제 점검회의' 리허설 장면을 YTN이 돌발영상 프로그램으로 제작해 송출한 것과 관련해 강력한 유감을 표하며 비판했다.
이재명 대통령실 부대변인은 이날 용산 대통령실 브리핑에서 "대통령·장관이 국민께 정책 방향을 생생히 설명하는 자리를 폄훼하고자 YTN은 테스트 영상을 무단 사용해 마치 사전 기획행사인양 악의적 편집했다"고 지적했다.
그러면서 "언론사들이 지켜오던 원칙·약속·관행을 송두리째 무시한 처사라 생각한다"고 비판했다.
앞서 YTN은 지난 16일 국정과제 점검회의 리허설 장면을 '(일부)국민과의 대화'란 제목 돌발영상으로 편집해 보도했으나 삭제 조치했다. 돌발영상에선 사전 점검 장면과 실제 생방송 중계 장면이 교차 편집돼 보여졌다.
영상에선 국민 패널들이 미리 질문을 연습해보는 내용 등이 담겼고, 대통령 대역이 대통령 예상 답변을 미리 말해보는 장면도 나욌다.
또 '생방송이니 만큼 오전부터 리허설에 한창' '손드는 방식도 미리 맞춰보고' '완벽한 리허설 덕분에 대화는 물 흐르듯 순조롭고' 등 자막도 사용됐다.
이 부대변인은 "2시간 반 넘는 생중계 행사에선 순서 조정 등 사전 기술 점검이 당연히 필요하고, 대통령은 원래 리허설을 하지 않는다"며 "그럼에도 기술 점검 때 나온 대통령 예상 답변은 당연한 내용이며 대통령의 평소 철학을 그대로 반영하고 있기 때문"이라고 설명했다.
