대통령실이 10일 "국민생명·안전을 지키는 건 말아닌 현실 문제"라며 "한반도·동북아의 엄중한 안보현실을 정확히 인식하고 제대로 대비하는 게 중요하다"고 밝혔다.

대통령실이 이틀 연속 공지 및 브리핑을 통해 대북메시지를 내고 러시아·우크라이나, 중국·대만 등 포괄적 동북아 안보 상황을 고려한 한·미·일 안보협력 필요성을 강조한 것으로 보인다.
전날 김은혜 대통령실 홍보수석 역시 서면브리핑에서 "굳건한 한·미동맹과 한·미·일 3자 안보협력으로 국민을 지키겠다"며 "안보 태세에 적정 수준이란 있을 수 없고 지나치다할 만큼 준비해야 지킬 수 있는 게 국가 안위"라고 밝힌 바 있다.
김 수석은 또 윤석열 대통령도 "북핵미사일 위협에 한·미동맹은 물론 한·미·일 3자 안보협력을 더 강화해 나가겠다"며 언급했다고 전했다.
