대통령실이 4일 윤석열 대통령과 낸시 펠로시 미국 하원의장 간 통화가 이날 오후 예정돼 있다고 밝혔다.
윤 대통령 휴가 일정 등으로 회동이 이뤄지지 않는다는 전날의 기존 입장을 재확인시켰다.
또 국가안보실 등 대통령실 다른 인사와의 접촉 계획 여부에 대해선 "공식적 공개 일정이 잡혀 있지 않다"고 밝혔다.
전날 펠로시 의장은 대만 방문을 마치고 한국에 도착한 가운데 이날 김진표 국회의장과 회담한다. 양자는 인도태평양 지역 안보와 경제협력, 기후위기 등 현안을 논의할 예정이다.
펠로시 의장은 이날 오후 판문점도 방문할 예정이다.
