브레이크뉴스 정명훈 기자= 이재명 더불어민주당 대선 후보는 26일 "저 이재명은 앞으로 일체의 네거티브를 중단하겠다. 야당도 이에 동참해달라"고 밝혔다.
이재명 후보는 이날 오전 여의도 민주당사에서 가진 긴급 기자회견에서 "대선 과정에서 격화되고 있는 네거티브 공방에 대해 국민들이 많은 걱정을 하고 있다"며 이같이 말했다.
그는 "실망감을 넘어 역대급 비호감 대선이라는 말을 들을 때마다 국민들을 볼 면목이 없다. 국민 여러분께 고개 숙여 사죄드린다"면서 "저부터 시작하겠다. 저 이재명은 앞으로는 오직 대한민국의 미래와 희망을 이야기 하겠다"고 강조했다.
이어 그는 "여의도 정치를 확 바꾸겠다. 이재명이 먼저 혁신하고, 민주당이 먼저 내려놓겠다"면서 "불공정, 불평등, 기득권 타파, 세대교체로 국민의 삶을 지키는 민주주의를 실현하겠다"고 힘주어 말했다.
그는 또 "이재명 정부는 위기극복을 위한 국민내각, 통합정부를 만들겠다"며 "정파, 연령 상관없이 국민을 위해 꼭 필요한 인재라면 넓게 등용해 완전히 새로운 내각을 구성하겠다. 위기극복을 위해서라면 삼고초려도 마다하지 않겠다"고 약속했다.
아울러 "3040대 장관을 적극 등용해 대한민국 역사상 가장 젊은 국민내각을 구성하겠다"며 "청년세대는 이재명 정부의 가장 든든한 국정 파트너"라고 강조하기도 했다.
이 후보는 "이제는 더 이상 나눠먹기식 회전문 인사로 국민을 실망시키지 않겠다"면서 "이재명의 국민내각은 책상머리 '보고서 리더십'이 아닌 국민 일상과 함께하는 '현장형 해결 리더십'으로 일대 전환될 것"이라고 했다.
