매일, 맥주 2만cc(생맥주 500cc x 40잔) 정도를 마셔댔다.

Reporters and alcohol talk... “Reporters during the Park Chung-hee-Chun Doo-hwan military regime were drunk”

“I am advocating alcohol. Alcohol is innocent, and man is only a sinner. Drink, you are innocent~”

-Moon Il-suk Publisher

I learned to drink late. he dares to say He was probably around 30 when he first started drinking. It was only then that he learned to drink. Of course, he used to drink makgeolli occasionally before that.

The reason he started drinking alcohol at an old age was the influence of his father. My memory goes back to about 6 years old. I can't remember my previous thoughts. It was then that his father caught his eye. He was a drinker until he died at the age of 80. His father was very drunk. They shouted whales and harassed his family until he woke up. I grew up watching my father like that. He vowed not to drink alcohol and not to become a drunkard like his father. He vowed again.

When I enlisted in the army, the white horse unit that participated in the Vietnam War had withdrawn. He was assigned to that unit. The superior said, “You drink,” and forcefully slapped his ass with blood. I didn't drink though. endured It was due to a victim consciousness about drunkenness, which he received from his father.

After he was discharged from the military, he did not drink alcohol even when he went to a monthly magazine and a weekly newspaper. It wasn't that he couldn't drink physically. The assassination of former President Park Chung-hee on October 26, 1979, a military coup on December 12, 1979, and the May 18, 1980, Gwangju Democratization Movement took place one after another.

Korean society has been drunk ever since. More and more people were getting drunk.

If I recall, it seems that most of the reporters at the time were also drunk from that time. Why were so many reporters drunk? It must have had something to do with dictatorship. The power that suppressed the writing I wanted to write was probably the factor that made me drink alcohol. During the Park Chung-hee-Chun Doo-hwan military regime, many reporters at that time were drunk. Many reporters were drunk. At least from the 1970s to the 1990s.

During the democratization process of the Republic of Korea from the 1970s to the 1990s, many reporters were drunk. It was around this time that the story about the short lifespan of the branches came out. It is impossible to have an inscription erected for reporters who lost their health while drinking. Because it was considered a personal matter. I use this article to comfort the souls of those reporters who fought head-to-head with writing or articles in the stronghold of dictatorship, or who had a heartache while holding their breath or drinking temporary intoxication, and then went to the other world first. ) I hope you do.

As the editor-in-chief of the Saturday newspaper, I held the presidential election on December 18, 1992. At that time, most of the reporters were always drunk. Why? One day I went to the bar until the 10th. A reporter died seven days after the wedding. The doctor said he had drank too much and had a hole in his stomach. He said it was because he drank too much alcohol.

Around that time, the amount of alcohol I drink as a reporter increased endlessly. Every day, he drank about 20,000 cc of beer (500ccX40 draft beer). Fortunately, I didn't drink soju often. I was so craving for beer. Thinking about it now, he thought he was going to die from drowning in a drinking crucible. There were days when I fell asleep under a bridge when there was a curfew... My youthful days were going like that. Why did you drink that way? The dictatorship may have been the cause. Although it is my intoxication, I think that among the articles I wrote, there were many articles that satisfied the readers' right to know. I would be praising myself though.

Journalists these days don't drink as much as they used to. When asked to have a drink, he quietly leaves. Is it because of your health? The world has changed.

Even though he drank 20,000cc of beer every day, he didn't die yet. I traveled all over the country, all over the world, listening to the sound of my shoes getting worn out with my ears. Thousands of good luck Is it because I started drinking alcohol after I turned 30?

To make an excuse, it doesn't seem like the relationship between reporters and alcohol is that bad. Because I met a lot of reporters while drinking. And I wrote articles. I didn't have much success as a reporter writing articles, but I've been living my life as a journalist while drinking.

To confess, I almost never drank alone. There was always a drinking partner. There were also many reporters who were dating while drinking.

However, there must have been many mistakes made while drunk. Could a drunken man properly cover me? Every day, wildly, drunkenly, every time he entered the house, he used alcoholism. When I was young, I would have been smarter then than I am now. When I got home from work late at night, I always bought a bottle of soju. Then he sprinkled the soju on his hair, clothes, and shoes. Deliberately, more, the smell of alcohol made the grass go away. It was a kind of ruse - a scheme to not get kicked out of the house. I went home safely and fell asleep, and the day just went by like that.

But I ended up getting kicked out of the house. Was alcohol the enemy? no. Alcohol was just alcohol. I think the problem was the journalist who was always drunk.

Essayist Pi Cheon-deuk, in her essay titled ‘Her Alcohol’, said, “Her wife says that her daughter and her daughter will never marry her non-drinkers. They want their children to come home drunk like other fathers. Because I know that when I come back drunk, they buy me something, give me money, and even accept stupid things.” It was only after reading this essay that I realized the generosity of women, but I also realized that there are women like that in the world.

Drunk moments are fun when you drink. But eternity is devoured by its drunkenness. Still, this time, I want to defend alcohol. Alcohol is innocent, and man is only a sinner. Alcohol, you are innocent~ Sul, you are innocent~...moonilsuk@naver.com
