충남 서천군이 유구한 숨결을 간직한 한산읍성 일원에서 가을밤의 정취를 만끽할 수 있는 야간 역사문화 축제를 선보인다. 군은 오는 11일부터 12일까지 이틀 동안 오후 6시부터 10시까지 한산읍성과 한산시장 일원에서 ‘2026 서천국가유산 야행’을 개최한다고 밝혔다.
‘한산의 성주, 요란한 잠행’을 부제로 내건 이번 행사는 삼국시대부터 면면히 이어져 온 한산의 역사와 한산읍성, 건지산성 등 지역 대표 국가유산을 현대적 감각으로 재해석했다.
축제는 성주의 행차를 입체적으로 재현한 ‘한산읍성 조선 행렬-군수를 맞이하다’ 거리 퍼포먼스로 화려한 서막을 연다. 이어 지현리삼층석탑 모형을 직접 장식하는 ‘한산수호탑에 말해봐’, 총과 화포, 국궁 등 조선시대 무기를 두루 다뤄보는 ‘한산읍성 지킴이’ 등 역사 속 현장을 생생히 복원한 체험 프로그램이 탐방객을 맞는다.
