농축협 전국후계농업경영인조합장협의회가 충북 수안보에서 워크숍을 열고 농정 현안과 농업·농촌 발전 방안을 논의했다.
협의회는 지난 3일 충북 수안보 상록호텔에서 회원 조합장 200여 명이 참석한 가운데 워크숍을 개최했다고 4일 밝혔다.
행사에는 강호동 농협중앙회장과 박정수 전국후계농업경영인조합장협의회장(목포농협 조합장), 양기원 전국후계농업경영인축협조합장협의회장(포천축협 조합장), 최흥식 한국후계농업경영인중앙연합회장, 양광석 한국후계농업경영인 충북도연합회장 등이 참석했다.
참석자들은 CPTPP 등 농업통상 동향과 농자재 가격 상승, 농산물 가격 하락 등 농가 경영 관련 현안을 공유하고 농업인 권익 보호를 위한 활동 방안을 논의했다.
2027년 예정된 전국 동시조합장선거를 앞두고 위탁선거법과 기부행위 제한 등을 주제로 한 전문가 특강도 진행됐다.
이날 행사에서는 ‘농심천심(農心天心) 운동’ 실천 결의대회도 열렸다. 참석자들은 농업의 소득 증대와 농업·농촌 경쟁력 확보를 위한 활동에 나서기로 했다.
강호동 농협중앙회장은 축사에서 이상기후로 인한 농가의 어려움을 언급하며 농업 현장의 목소리를 반영하고 농촌 발전을 위한 역할을 해줄 것을 당부했다.

National Association of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen Holds Workshop in Suanbo
The National Association of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen of the National Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative Federation held a workshop in Suanbo, North Chungcheong Province, to discuss current agricultural policy issues and strategies for the development of agriculture and rural communities.
The Association announced on the 4th that it held the workshop on the 3rd at the Sangnok Hotel in Suanbo, North Chungcheong Province, with approximately 200 member cooperative chairmen in attendance.
Attendees at the event included Kang Ho-dong, Chairman of the National Association of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen; Park Jung-soo, Chairman of the National Association of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen (Chairman of Mokpo Agricultural Cooperative); Yang Ki-won, Chairman of the National Association of Successor Farmers' Livestock Cooperative Chairmen (Chairman of Pocheon Livestock Cooperative); Choi Heung-sik, Chairman of the Korea Federation of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen; and Yang Gwang-seok, Chairman of the Chungcheongbuk-do Federation of Successor Farmers' Cooperative Chairmen.
Attendees shared current issues related to farm management, such as trends in agricultural trade including the CPTPP, rising prices of agricultural inputs, and falling prices of agricultural products, and discussed action plans to protect the rights and interests of farmers.
Ahead of the nationwide simultaneous elections for cooperative heads scheduled for 2027, special lectures by experts were held on topics such as the Consignment Election Act and restrictions on donation activities.
A resolution rally to put the ‘Nongsim Cheonshim’ (Agricultural Heart, Heavenly Heart) movement into practice was also held at the event. Attendees pledged to engage in activities aimed at increasing agricultural income and securing the competitiveness of agriculture and rural communities.
In his congratulatory remarks, Kang Ho-dong, Chairman of the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation (NACF), addressed the difficulties faced by farming households due to abnormal climate conditions and urged attendees to reflect the voices of the agricultural field and play a role in the development of rural communities.
