브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= 진에어는 오는 6일 ‘자원순환의 날’을 맞아 수명이 다한 승무원 유니폼을 재활용한 업사이클링 미니 파우치 키링 ‘청키팟’을 선보이고, 당일 국제선 탑승객을 대상으로 특별한 기내 이벤트를 진행한다고 4일 밝혔다.
진에어는 청바지 소재의 승무원 유니폼을 재활용해 2023년과 2024년 필통, 2025년 파우치를 제작한 데 이어, 매년 지속 가능한 자원순환 활동을 이어오고 있다.
올해 역시 지난해에 이어 국내 최초 업사이클링 사회적 기업인 ‘에코파티메아리’와의 협력을 강화해 이번 캠페인을 준비했다.
특히, 지난해 대형 파우치백으로 실용성을 높였다면, 올해는 가방 등에 상시 부착할 수 있는 키링 형태로 제작해 일상 속 자원 선순환의 의미를 보다 친근하게 전달하고자 했다.
이번에 선보이는 ‘청키팟’은 착용이 어려워진 승무원 유니폼 청바지를 수거한 뒤 다용도 미니 파우치 형태의 키링으로 재탄생시킨 것이 특징이다.
무선 이어폰 등 작은 소지품을 간편하게 수납할 수 있으며, 탈부착이 자유로워 활용도가 높다. 또한, 사용 후 남은 잔여 원단과 물품은 기부를 통해 추가적인 자원순환 활동으로 이어갈 계획이다.
아울러 진에어는 자원순환의 날 당일 운항하는 인천~이시가키지마(LJ361) 및 인천~치앙마이(LJ009) 항공편 탑승객을 대상으로 한정판 증정 이벤트를 진행한다.
해당 항공편에서는 객실승무원이 진행하는 보물찾기 등 다채로운 기내 게임이 펼쳐지며, 추첨을 통해 ‘청키팟’을 증정할 예정이다. 단, 기내 이벤트는 사정에 따라 변경 또는 취소될 수 있다.
