청와대가 1일 "신임 국가지식재산위원회 위원장에 부산대 계승균 교수가 지명됐다"고 전했다.
강유정 수석대변인은 이날 오후 서면 브리핑에서 “지식 재산 법제에 정통하고 AI(인공지능)·공공계약까지 전문성을 넓혀온 법학자로 지식 재산 정책·법제 발전에 기여한 전문가”라며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 'AI·디지털 전환 등 신기술 환경 변화에 선제 대응해 지식 재산 창출·보호를 넘어 지식 재산을 국가 성장 핵심 동력으로 만들 적임자”라며 “국가지식재산위 전문·과 실효성을 높여 국가 지식 재산 전략 컨트롤타워 역할을 충실히 수행할 걸로 기대한다”고 했다.
부산 출신 신임 계 위원장은 가야고·부산대 법학과 졸업 후 동대학 법학 석·박사 취득 및 독일 뮌헨대 법학 석사를 수료한 가운데 한국지식재산학회 회장·한국저작권위원회 비상임위원·문화체육관광부 국어심의회 위원 등을 맡고 있다.
