브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성은 경남 거제∙통영, 경북 안동∙의성 등지에서 발생한 집중호우로 큰 피해를 입은 주민들을 위로하고 신속한 피해 복구를 지원하기 위해 성금 30억원을 기부했다고 28일 밝혔다.
이번 성금 기부에는 △삼성전자 △삼성물산 △삼성생명 △삼성디스플레이 △삼성SDI △삼성전기 △삼성SDS △삼성화재 △삼성중공업 등 9개 관계사가 뜻을 모아 참여했다. 특히, 삼성중공업은 이번 폭우로 사업장 일부가 피해를 입었음에도 불구하고 지역사회를 위해 기꺼이 기부에 동참했다.
삼성은 구호성금 30억원 기부 이외에도 수해 피해 주민들을 위해 긴급 구호물품과 쉘터를 지원하고, 집중호우 피해 고객들에 대한 금융지원 등을 제공하며 일상 회복을 돕고 있다.

삼성카드는 집중호우로 피해를 입은 고객들을 대상으로 실질적인 금융지원을 제공한다. 올해 8월부터 10월까지 청구되는 신용카드 결제대금을 최장 6개월까지 유예하고, 결제예정금액을 무이자로 최대 6개월까지 분할 납부할 수 있도록 지원한다.
아울러 피해 고객의 카드대출 이자를 최대 30%까지 감면하고, 10월 말 이내에 만기가 도래하는 장기카드대출의 만기를 재연장해 주기로 했다.
