(브레이크뉴스인천 박상도 기자) 인천시교육청이 지난 10일 송도컨벤시아에서 교사 300여 명을 대상으로 ‘2026년 읽걷쓰AI 교사 실천 공동체 역량 강화 워크숍’을 운영했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 워크숍은 실천 공동체 교사들의 읽걷쓰AI 역량을 강화하고, 공동체별 활동 계획을 구체화하기 위해 마련됐다.
읽걷쓰AI 교사 실천 공동체는 학교 여건과 학생의 특성에 맞는 읽걷쓰AI 교육을 실천하기 위한 것으로, 올해는 교사들의 자발적인 참여를 바탕으로 237개의 공동체가 구성됐다.
공동체는 AI 활용 교수학습 도구 개발, H-A-H 기반 교수학습 혁신, 연수·나눔 확산의 세 가지 주제를 중심으로 읽걷쓰AI의 학교 현장 실천을 강화해 나갈 예정이다.
워크숍에서는 옥스퍼드대학교 조지은 교수가 인공지능(AI) 시대에 필요한 언어와 사고의 중요성에 대한 강연을 진행했다.
조지은 교수는 AI를 학생의 생각을 대신하는 도구가 아닌 질문과 탐구를 확장하는 조력자로 활용하기 위한 교육의 방향을 설명했다.
이어진 분임 활동에서 참가 교사들은 실천 공동체별 운영 목표와 실천 방안을 구체화하고, 공동체별 성과를 학교 내 동료 교사들과 공유·확산하기 위한 계획을 논의했다.
도성훈 교육감은 “워크숍에 함께한 237개의 실천 공동체가 선생님들의 자발적 참여로 구성됐다는 점에 큰 의미가 있다”며 “읽걷쓰AI를 학교 현장에 뿌리내리게 하는 가장 큰 힘이 될 것이다”고 말했다.
한편, 인천시교육청은 향후 실천 공동체의 활동과 성과 공유를 지원해 교사들의 자발적인 실천이 인천교육 전반에 확산되도록 할 방침이다.

또한 , 인천시교육청이 지난 10일, ‘공직자의 이해충돌 방지법’에 대한 이해를 높이고 공정한 직무수행 문화를 조성하기 위해 시교육청 전 직원을 대상으로 출근길 청렴동행 캠페인을 실시했다고 밝혔다.
인천시교육청에 따르면, 이번 캠페인은 공직자가 직무수행 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 이해충돌 상황을 사전에 인식하고, 법에서 정한 신고·제출 의무와 제한·금지 행위를 올바르게 적용하게 하고자 마련됐다.
이날 도성훈 교육감을 비롯한 간부 공무원과 시민감사관은 출근하는 직원들에게 청렴의 가치를 되새길 수 있는 도서 및 이해충돌 방지법 주요 내용이 담긴 홍보물을 배부하고, 공정하고 책임 있는 직무수행을 당부했다.
인천시교육청 관계자는 “이해충돌을 예방하려면 공직자 스스로 직무와 사적 이해관계가 얽힐 가능성을 세심하게 살피고, 필요한 신고와 회피 절차를 준수해야 한다”며 “직원들이 제도를 정확히 이해하고 업무 과정에서 실천하는 계기가 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
