[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 함양군이 여행경비의 절반을 지역사랑상품권으로 돌려주는 관광 지원사업에 선정돼 오는 9월부터 시행에 들어간다.
함양군은 문화체육관광부와 한국관광공사가 주관한 ‘2026년 지역사랑 휴가지원 시범사업’ 공모에 최종 선정됐다고 밝혔다.
이 사업은 인구감소지역을 방문한 관광객이 지역 내 가맹점에서 사용한 여행경비의 50%를 지역사랑상품권으로 환급받는 방식이다. 환급금은 다시 함양지역에서 사용할 수 있어 관광객의 추가 소비와 지역 내 자금 순환을 유도하는 구조다.
환급 한도는 1인 최대 10만원, 2인 이상은 최대 20만원이다. 동일 거주지 가족은 최대 5인까지 50만원을 받을 수 있으며, 만 19~34세 청년에게는 환급금의 20%가 추가된다.
