두 번째 기조 전환으로 사법 절차의 정상화를 꼽은 정 원내대표는 현 정권의 사법부 장악 시도를 정조준했다. 정점식 원내대표는 “이미 현장에서 사법파괴 3대 악법 시행의 부작용이 드러나고 있다”고 꼬집으며, 사법부를 무리하게 장악하기 위한 악법들을 다시 합리적으로 고쳐 나갈 것을 제안했다. 아울러 현 정권의 도덕적 해이를 지적하며 “이재명 대통령과 측근들을 위한 셀프 공소취소는 결코 용납할 수 없다”고 경고했다.
