최현덕 당선인은 11일 오전 10시 서울 중구 정동 소재 국토개발전시관에서 김이탁 국토교통부 제1차관과 만나 남양주시의 고질적인 교통 정체 해소와 도시 성장을 위한 핵심 현안을 집중적으로 논의했다.

이날 면담에서 김이탁 제1차관은 남양주시가 가진 무한한 발전 가능성에 깊은 공감을 표하며, 시민들의 출퇴근 교통 불편을 해소하고 안정적인 도시 발전을 도모할 수 있도록 국토교통부 차원의 적극적인 협조와 지원 의사를 밝혔다.
