[양주 브레이크뉴스=김완영 기자] 경기도 양주시가 민선 9기 시정의 밑그림을 그릴 ‘시장직 인수위원회’를 공식 출범하고 본격적인 활동에 돌입했다.
양주시는 11일 오전 양주고용복지플러스센터에서 시장 당선인을 비롯한 인수위원, 자문위원 등이 참석한 가운데 인수위원회 출범식과 현판제막식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 인수위원회는 전문성과 개혁성을 겸비한 각계각층의 전문가들로 구성됐다.
인수위는 앞으로 민선 9기의 시정 비전과 목표를 설정하고, 당선인의 공약 사항을 구체화하는 등 정식 출범을 위한 핵심 역할을 수행하게 된다.
이날 출범식에서 당선인은 인사말을 통해 “시민들의 기대와 염원이 담긴 민선 9기 양주시를 성공적으로 출범시키기 위해 위원들의 역량을 모아달라”고 당부하며, “시정 공백을 최소화하고, 양주시의 지속 가능한 발전과 시민 복지 증진을 위한 로드맵을 촘촘히 설계하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.
