유승민 전 국회의원은 SNS 저널인 6월4일치 페이스북에 “이재명 정권의 레임덕이 시작됐습니다.”라는 제목의 글을 게재했다.

또한 “투표용지를 50%밖에 준비하지 않은 선관위의 무능과 무책임은 당장 국정조사를 해서 뿌리부터 수술해야 합니다. 도대체 누가 그런 황당한 결정을 내렸는지 용납할 수 없습니다. 이 중대한 시기에 보수가 정신 차려야 합니다. 국민의힘이 많이 부족하지만 그래도 견제세력으로서의 역할을 국민들께서 주셨습니다. 불파불립(不破不立!)=낡은 것을 깨부수지 않으면 바로 세울 수 없습니다. 탄핵의 강을 건너고 유능하고 따뜻한 개혁보수의 길로 보수를 재건해야 합니다. 그래야 다음 총선을 이기고 국회를 탈환해서 이재명 정권의 폭정을 막고 나라를 바로 세울 수 있습니다.“고 덧붙였다.
