<브레이크뉴스 원주 = 김일웅 기자> 원주시그림책센터가 대한적십자사 인도법연구소와 손잡고 따뜻한 인도주의의 가치를 전하는 특별한 전시회를 마련했다.
센터는 오는 6월 12일부터 7월 12일까지 한 달간 제2회 휴머니타리안 그림책 원화전 ‘호랑이의 노래: 봄의 나비가 겨울 호랑이에게’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.
이번 전시는 지난겨울 국립어린이청소년도서관에서 호평 속에 막을 내린 서울 전시의 두 번째 순회전이다. 20대 신예 김진홍 작가의 그림책 '호랑이의 노래'를 중심으로, 원화 감상은 물론 아카이브 자료와 다채로운 체험형 콘텐츠가 관람객을 맞이한다.
특히 서울 전시 이후 변화한 계절의 흐름을 반영해, 관람객들이 작품 속 주인공과 함께 계절을 지나며 서로의 곁으로 다가가는 과정을 생생하게 체험할 수 있도록 새롭게 꾸며진 점이 돋보인다.
전시 첫날인 12일 오후 4시에는 원주시그림책도서관에서 '김진홍 작가와의 대화'가 열린다. 이 시간은 한 장의 스케치가 어떻게 이야기가 되고, 마침내 한 권의 그림책으로 탄생하는지 그 생생한 창작의 뒷이야기를 작가에게 직접 들을 수 있는 값진 자리가 될 전망이다.
