가평군은 지난 15일 가평잣고을시장 일대에서 경제산업국장을 비롯한 관계 공무원들이 참석한 가운데, 고유가 피해지원금 2차 신청 홍보 및 조기 사용을 촉구하는 거리 캠페인을 진행했다고 밝혔다.
이번 캠페인은 1차 미신청자와 소득 하위 70%에 해당하는 대상 군민들이 한 명도 빠짐없이 지원 혜택을 누릴 수 있도록 신청률을 끌어올리고, 지급된 지원금이 지역 내에서 빠르게 소비되어 위축된 골목 상권에 활력을 불어넣고자 마련됐다.

이날 행사에 참여한 군 직원들은 어깨띠를 두르고 시장을 찾은 방문객과 상인들에게 지원금 신청 방법과 구체적인 사용처가 안내된 홍보물을 직접 배부하며 적극적인 동참을 호소했다.
