The People Power Party is launching a fierce offensive as indications of systematic evidence destruction by the aides of Democratic Party Busan mayoral candidate Jeon Jae-soo (former National Assembly member) have emerged. Chief Spokespersons Kwak Kyu-taek and Choi Bo-yoon each issued statements characterizing the incident—in which work PCs were smashed with hammers and thrown into fields ahead of a search and seizure—as a "direct challenge to the rule of law."
Citing the contents of the publicly released indictment, Spokesperson Kwak revealed the shocking details of the case. Shaking his head, Spokesperson Kwak stated, "The methods were blatant and meticulous; a senior secretary ordered an intern to factory reset the PC, smashed the HDD with a hammer and buried it in a field, and threw the SSD into a bathroom trash can."
