[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시 공무원 자원봉사단은 지난 9일 김해문화체육관에서 사회복지법인 함께걸음 도림원과 공동으로 ‘봄맞이 명랑체육대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사에는 시청 자원봉사단원 15명과 도림원 원생 65명 등 총 80명이 참여해 장애인과 비장애인이 함께 어우러지는 화합의 시간을 가졌다.

행사는 원생들의 장애 정도에 따라 체육활동과 체험활동으로 나눠 진행됐다. 자립 활동이 가능한 원생들은 딱지치기, 짐볼 릴레이, 낙하산 놀이 등에 참여했으며, 집중 돌봄이 필요한 원생들은 페이스페인팅과 풍선아트, 공예체험 등을 즐겼다.

자원봉사단원들은 행사 진행과 함께 원생별 1대1 지원 활동에 참여했다. 현장에는 응급처치 요원과 돌봄 인력이 배치돼 안전 관리도 병행됐다.

김해시 관계자는 “장애 원생들에게 야외활동 기회를 제공하고 지역사회 유대를 높이는 의미 있는 행사였다”며 “사회통합 프로그램을 지속 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
