브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 국내 최대 규모의 민간 사회적 가치 플랫폼인 SOVAC(Social Value Connect)이 오는 9월 서울 코엑스에서 열리는 ‘SOVAC 2026’의 주인공을 찾는다.
SOVAC 사무국은 9월 21일부터 이틀간 개최되는 ‘SOVAC 2026’에 참여할 기업과 조직을 공개 모집한다고 12dlf 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 2024년부터 이어온 대한상공회의소 주최 ‘대한민국 사회적 가치 페스타’와의 공동 주관 형식으로 진행된다.
공모 대상은 사회적 기업, 소셜벤처, 비영리 재단, 임팩트 투자자 등 사회적 가치 생태계 내 모든 이해관계자다.
모집 분야는 △전시·홍보 △강연·토의 △마켓·판매 △팝업부스다. 선발된 조직에는 참가비를 전액 지원한다.
특히, 올해 신설된 ‘팝업부스’는 신생 기업과 비영리 조직, 지역 기반 조직, 대학 창업팀 등이 부담 없이 참여할 수 있도록 마련된 프로그램이다. 행사 기간 중 지정된 시간 동안 제품·서비스를 집중적으로 소개할 수 있도록 운영된다.
참가 신청은 이달 31일까지 SOVAC 공식 홈페이지를 통해 가능하며, 최종 심사결과는 6월 29일에 개별 안내될 예정이다.
심사는 기업 및 조직이 해결하려는 사회문제와 활동 목적을 중심으로 각 프로그램의 특성과 적합성 등을 종합적으로 고려해 진행된다.
SOVAC 사무국 관계자는 “사회적가치 확산을 위해 노력하는 다양한 조직들이 SOVAC을 통해 서로의 경험과 해법을 공유하고 새로운 협력 기회를 만드는 계기가 되길 기대한다”며 “올해는 로컬 기반 사회문제 해결 사례와 지속가능한 성장 모델에 대한 논의도 더욱 확대해 나갈 계획이다”고 말했다.
