[브레이크뉴스=배종태 기자] 부산상공회의소는 국민의힘 박형준 부산시장 후보와 지역 상공인 간담회를 열고, 부산경제계 제언집을 전달했다. 이번 간담회는 지역 경제 현안과 미래 성장 전략을 공유하고 차기 시정 운영에 기업 현장의 의견을 반영하기 위해 마련됐다.
이날 간담회에는 박 후보와 박수영 정책총괄본부장, 양재생 부산상의 회장을 비롯한 회장단 등 17명이 참석해 투자환경 개선과 주력산업 경쟁력 강화 방안 등을 논의했다.
부산상의가 제시한 제언집은 ▲비즈니스 인프라 구축 ▲제도 및 생태계 혁신 ▲앵커기업·기관 유치 등 3대 분야 24개 과제로 구성됐다. 주요 과제로는 가덕신공항 적기 개항, 취수원 다변화, 북항 재개발, 해양 특화 공공기관 이전, 첨단 반도체 생산거점 조성 등이 포함됐다.
상공인들은 특히 가덕신공항과 취수원 다변화 사업이 지역 제조업과 시민 생활에 직결된 핵심 과제라며 차질 없는 추진을 요청했다. 지역별 전기요금 차등제 도입 필요성에도 공감대를 형성했다.
양재생 회장은 “부산의 지속가능한 성장을 위해 인프라 확충과 제도 개선, 기업 유치가 종합적으로 추진돼야 한다”며 “제언집 과제들이 정책에 폭넓게 반영되길 바란다”고 말했다.

The Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a meeting on May 6 at 1:30 p.m. at its 8th-floor conference room with People Power Party Busan mayoral candidate Park Hyung-jun and delivered a policy proposal report outlining the regional business community’s economic agenda.
The meeting was organized to directly convey local economic issues and future growth strategies to the mayoral candidate ahead of the 9th nationwide local elections, and to reflect business-sector perspectives in the city’s next administration.
Attendees included candidate Park Hyung-jun, Park Soo-young (head of the policy coordination committee), and Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Chairman Yang Jae-saeng, along with 17 members of the chamber’s leadership. They discussed key regional issues such as improving the investment environment and strengthening competitiveness in core local industries.
The submitted “Busan Economic Community Proposal Report” consists of 24 tasks across three major areas: ▲ building business infrastructure ▲ institutional and ecosystem innovation ▲ attracting anchor companies and institutions. Key proposals include diversifying water intake sources, ensuring timely completion of the Gadeok New Airport, redevelopment of North Port, introducing regional electricity pricing and differentiated tax systems, relocating maritime-related public institutions, establishing a semiconductor production hub, and relocating the Korea Coast Guard headquarters to Busan.
Business leaders emphasized that the timely opening of Gadeok New Airport and the diversification of water sources are directly linked to both manufacturing operations and residents’ quality of life, urging consistent attention to ensure smooth implementation. They also agreed that regional electricity pricing reform is a necessary step to restore Busan’s economic competitiveness.
Chairman Yang Jae-saeng stated that amid prolonged global economic slowdown and geopolitical uncertainty, the regional economy is at a critical turning point. He stressed that sustainable growth for Busan requires integrated policies combining infrastructure expansion, institutional reform, and strategic attraction of companies and institutions, and expressed hope that the proposals will be actively reflected in policy discussions and future pledges.
