브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 수입 승용차 시장에서도 전기차 인기는 하늘을 찌르고 있다.
한국수입자동차협회(KAIDA)가 7일 발표한 4월 수입 승용차 신규 등록 통계에 따르면 테슬라가 베스트셀링카 상위권을 휩쓸었다.
특히 탑 10대 중 7대가 전기차 모델로, 전기차 강세 현상이 지속되고 있는 상황이다.
가장 많이 등록된 차량 모델은 테슬라 '모델 Y 프리미엄'으로, 4월 한 달간 9328대가 신규 등록됐다. 2위 역시 테슬라 '모델 3 프리미엄 롱레인지'가 차지했으며 등록 대수는 1481대로 집계됐다.
전통의 강자 독일 BMW '520' 모델이 1191대로 3위에 올랐으며, 테슬라 '모델 3'가 847대로 4위를 기록했다.
중국 전기차 브랜드 BYD의 상위권 진입도 눈에 띈다.
BYD '돌핀(DOLPHIN)'은 800대로 5위, '실리온 7(SEALION 7)'은 621대로 8위를 기록했다.
