브레이크뉴스 문홍철 기자= 현대자동차의 원메이크 레이싱 대회 ‘현대 N 페스티벌’ 2026 시즌의 막이 오른다.
현대차는 오는 5월 8일부터 10일까지 경기 용인 에버랜드 스피드웨이에서 열리는 1라운드를 시작으로 ‘2026 현대 N 페스티벌’을 개막한다고 4일 밝혔다.
현대 N 페스티벌은 2003년 ‘클릭 스피드 페스티벌’을 시작으로 ‘코리아 스피드 페스티벌’을 거쳐 20년 이상 이어져 온 대회다. 동일 차종으로만 경쟁하는 방식으로, 차량 성능보다 드라이버의 기량이 승부를 좌우하는 것이 특징이다.
이번 시즌은 아이오닉 5 N 기반 ‘그란 투리스모 eN1 클래스’, 아반떼 N1 컵카로 운영되는 ‘금호 N1 클래스’, 아반떼 N2 컵카의 ‘넥센 N2 클래스’, 그리고 신규 도입된 ‘넥센 N3 클래스’ 등 총 4개 클래스로 운영된다.
모든 차량은 양산형 N 모델의 핵심 부품을 기반으로 제작된다.
대회는 1라운드 용인을 시작으로 6월 전남 영암 코리아 인터내셔널 서킷, 7월과 10월 강원 인제 스피디움, 10월 용인에서 이어지는 총 6개 라운드로 진행된다.

특히 이번 개막전에서는 그란 투리스모 7 이스포츠 국가대표 선발전도 함께 열리며, 현대차는 공식 후원사로 참여해 심레이싱 장비와 운영을 지원할 예정이다.
