브레이크뉴스 최애리 기자= KB국민은행이 나눔을 주제로 한 러닝 행사 ‘KB스타런’을 성황리에 마무리했다.
KB국민은행은 5월 가정의 달을 맞아 지난 3일 서울 여의도 한강공원 일대에서 ‘KB스타런’을 개최했다. 올해 처음 열린 이번 행사에는 약 6천여 명의 러너가 참가해 한강변 5km와 10km 코스를 달렸다.
행사에 앞서 진행된 개회식에는 KB금융그룹이 후원하는 쇼트트랙 국가대표 김길리 선수가 참석해 기부금 전달식에 참여했으며, 이후 참가자들과 함께 러닝에 나서 현장 분위기를 끌어올렸다.
이번 행사 참가비 전액은 글로벌 아동권리 전문 NGO 굿네이버스에 기부됐다. 총 모금액은 약 1억 7천여만 원으로, 향후 아동 지원 사업에 활용될 예정이다.
행사장에는 가족 단위 방문객도 함께 즐길 수 있는 다양한 체험형 프로그램이 마련됐다. 퍼즐 맞추기, 모루 키링 만들기, 먹거리 부스, 기록 포토존 등이 운영됐으며, 완주 메달에 기록을 새겨주는 무료 각인 서비스는 참가자들로부터 큰 호응을 얻었다.
KB국민은행 관계자는 “비가 내리는 날씨에도 6천여 명의 러너가 함께해 나눔의 가치를 실천할 수 있었던 의미 있는 행사였다”며 “앞으로도 고객과 소통할 수 있는 다양한 문화 이벤트를 지속적으로 확대해 나가겠다”고 말했다.

In celebration of Family Month in May, KB Kookmin Bank hosted the ‘KB Star Run’ on the 3rd in the area around Yeouido Han River Park in Seoul. Approximately 6,000 runners participated in this event, held for the first time this year, running 5km and 10km courses along the Han River.
