브레이크뉴스 정민우 기자= 삼성전자가 TV사업 부문 사장단 인사를 단행했다.
삼성전자는 4일 글로벌마케팅실장을 맡고 있던 이원진 사장을 DX부문 영상디스플레이사업부장 겸 서비스 비즈니스팀장으로 선임했다.
기존 영상디스플레이사업부장이던 용석우 사장은 DX부문장 보좌역으로 위촉했다.
회사 측은 이번 인사에 대해 "이원진 사장은 콘텐츠·서비스 및 마케팅 분야 전문가로, 삼성전자 TV와 모바일 서비스 사업의 핵심 기반을 구축하며 글로벌 사업 경쟁력 강화에 기여해왔다"면서 "이 사장이 풍부한 사업 성공 경험과 시장에 대한 높은 이해도를 바탕으로 새로운 시각의 비즈니스 전환을 이끌고, 미래 신성장 동력 발굴을 통해 TV 사업 경쟁력을 한층 끌어올릴 것"이라고 기대했다.
용석우 사장은 앞으로 DX부문장 보좌역으로서 R&D 전문성과 다양한 사업 경험을 바탕으로 AI와 로봇 등 세트 사업 전반의 미래 핵심 기술에 대한 자문 역할을 수행할 예정이다.
