가스공사는 중소벤처기업부가 발표한 ‘2025년도 공공기관 동반성장 평가’에서 ‘최우수’ 등급을 받았다고 27일 밝혔다. 이번 평가는 공공기관의 동반성장 실적을 ▲최우수 ▲우수 ▲양호 ▲보통 ▲개선 등 5개 등급으로 구분해 평가하는 제도로, 총 133개 기관을 대상으로 실시됐다.
이 가운데 공기업군(31개)에서는 가스공사를 포함한 18개 기관이 최우수 등급에 선정됐다.
가스공사는 상생결제 및 납품대금 연동제 확대, 중소기업과의 공동 기술개발 및 국산화, 해외 판로 개척 지원, 지역화폐 연계 소상공인 지원 등 다양한 상생 활동을 추진한 점을 높이 평가받았다. 특히 평가 점수는 97.78점으로, 전년도 ‘우수’ 등급에서 한 단계 상승함과 동시에 역대 최고 점수를 기록했다.
기술 협력 분야에서도 성과가 두드러졌다. 가스공사는 중소기업과 협력해 국내 최초 초저온 LNG 펌프 국산화에 성공하고, 천연가스 배관 자동 용접 기술 상용화를 통해 일자리 창출에 기여하는 등 산업 경쟁력 강화에 앞장섰다.
최연혜 사장은 “이번 평가로 2021년 이후 4년 만에 다시 최우수 기관으로 도약했다”며 “앞으로도 협력과 상생을 기반으로 공정경제를 선도하고, 에너지 산업의 지속 가능한 동반성장 생태계 구축에 힘쓰겠다”고 말했다.

Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS) has earned the highest rating in the public institution shared growth evaluation, in recognition of its achievements in mutual cooperation with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
KOGAS announced on the 27th that it received the ‘Excellent’ rating in the ‘2025 Public Institution Shared Growth Evaluation’ released by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. President Choi Yeon-hye stated, "With this evaluation, we have risen back to the status of a top-tier institution for the first time in four years since 2021," adding, "Moving forward, we will continue to lead a fair economy based on cooperation and mutual growth, and strive to build a sustainable ecosystem for shared growth in the energy industry."
