광역시·도지사, 시·군·구청장을 비롯한 지역 동량을 선출하는 지방선거가 60여 일 앞으로 다가왔다.
저마다 자신의 장점을 부각하며 최고의 동량이자 공복을 자처하며 날을 세우고 있다.
언뜻 보면 최고가 아닌 후보가 없다.
그러나 국민은 이제 혈연, 학연, 지연, 정당에 속지 않는다.
우리의 괴로움과 즐거움은 선거에 달려 있다는 ‘천하우락재선거(天下憂樂在選擧)’의 깊은 뜻을 윤석열 검찰총장과 김건희를 경험하며 너무나 잘 알고 있기 때문이다.
6·3 지방선거!
조·중·동을 비롯한 모든 보수 언론까지 선거판이 바뀌고 있다고 일갈한다.
보수가 보수답지 못해 이재명 한 사람에게 사이비 보수 정치가 일순간에 무너져 버렸다. 나라를 망하게 해도 보수를 지지한다는 국민, 민주당은 빨갱이라며 보수를 지지하던 국민, 그분들이 진짜 대통령 이재명을 보며 보수의 진정성이 무엇인지, 대통령이 무엇을 어떻게 하는지를 깨닫기 시작했기 때문이다.
묻지도 따지지도 않고 보수를 지지하던 부산, 경남, 울산이 정치의 진실에 눈을 뜨더니 보수의 성지라던 대구까지 진실에 접근해 경북을 제외한 전 지역에서 완패할 것이라 예상하고 있다.
21세기 들어 현명한 대한민국 국민은 ‘군주민수’가 국민의 권력임을 잘 알고 있다.
대통령을 비롯한 단체장(지방의원)은 한시적으로 국민의 권력을 위임받아 국민의 세금으로 공공의 이익을 위해 일하는 우리의 머슴이자 공복임을 잘 알고 있다.

대통령은 국법을 수호할 책임이 있고, 당대표는 국가의 국법과 같은 당헌·당규를 수호할 책임이 있음에도 후보를 존중하기는커녕 아무런 설명 없이 컷오프시켜 분란을 자초하고 있고, 정치인을 A, B, C로 등급을 매기는 파렴치한 행태를 보이며, 돈벌이에 혈안이 된 신(新) 페이퍼신문의 후예인 유튜버는 물 만난 고기마냥 정치인을 난도질하고 있다.
후보들은 이에 편승해 상대 후보를 폄하하는 데 주저하지 않고 있고, 일부 후보자는 언론사를 이용해 조사 업체를 선정하고 조사 일시, 조사 전화번호를 미리 공개·선전해 기백 명을 샘플로 조사한 수치를 공개하며 유권자를 혼란케 하고 있어 80년 만에 가까스로 정립한 진솔한 선거 문화에 찬물을 끼얹고 있으니 분노하지 않을 수 없다.
