해남군은 ‘일 년 내내 끊이지 않는 스포츠 대회’를 통해 지역경제 활성화와 생활인구 유입이라는 두 마리 토끼를 잡겠다는 전략이다.
해남군에 따르면 올해 전국 단위 15종목 23개 대회를 비롯해 도·군 단위 24개 대회 등 총 47개 대회가 해남 곳곳에서 펼쳐질 예정이다.
