가평군은 지난 12일 제2청사 소회의실에서 ‘가평군 통합지원협의체’ 위촉식과 첫 회의를 열고, 분산되어 있던 지역 돌봄 서비스를 통합·조정하는 공식 협의기구를 출범시켰다고 밝혔다.
이번 협의체 출범은 「가평군 지역사회 돌봄 통합지원에 관한 조례」에 근거한 것으로, 그동안 기관별·분야별로 나뉘어 제공되던 돌봄 서비스를 수요자 중심의 맞춤형 서비스로 재편하는 컨트롤 타워 역할을 수행하게 된다.
협의체는 위원장인 서태원 가평군수를 비롯해 보건소, 국민건강보험공단, 국민연금공단 등 공공기관과 의료계, 복지계, 학계 전문가 등 총 11명으로 구성됐다. 위원들은 향후 2년간 통합지원 정책 심의와 자문, 실행계획 수립 및 평가 등 실질적인 조정과 협력 방안을 논의할 예정이다.
특히 이날 열린 첫 회의에서는 가평군만의 특성을 반영한 ‘가평형 통합돌봄 구축 방향’과 구체적인 실행 계획을 공유하며 지역사회 전체가 함께 책임지는 돌봄 모델을 구축하기로 뜻을 모았다.
서태원 가평군수는 “돌봄은 이제 개인의 문제를 넘어 지역사회 전체가 함께 해결해야 할 과제”라며 “이번에 출범한 통합지원협의체를 통해 현장의 전문성을 결합하고 사각지대 없는 촘촘한 맞춤형 돌봄 서비스를 실현해 나가겠다”고 강조했다.
