청와대가 4일 "10개 기업이 5년간 지방에 투자하는 270조원 중 올해 66조원을 투자 예정"이라고 밝혔다.
이규연 홍보소통수석은 이날 오후 춘추관 브리핑에서 청년 일자리·지방 투자 확대 기업 간담회 관련해 이같이 전했다. 이는 지난해 대비 약 16조원 증가한 규모다.
그러면서 "지난해 이들 기업은 4000명을 추가 채용했는데 올해 2500명 더 늘렸다"며 "2025년 당초 계획 대비 6500명을 추가 고용하게 되는 셈으로 대통령이 청년 일자리 창출 노력에 감사를 표시했다"고 전했다.
10개 기업의 올해 신규 채용 규모는 총 5만1600명으로 지난해 대비 2500명이 늘어난 가운데 채용 인원 66%인 3만4200명은 신입 사원 채용으로 진행된다.
기업별로 보면 삼성 1만2000명·SK 8500명·LG 3000명 이상·포스코 3300명·한화 5780명 등인 것으로 잠정 집계됐다.
