세계평화통일가정연합 한국협회는 1월28일 선고된 세계평화통일가정연합 전 세계본부장 윤영호에 대한 징역선고와 관련, 입장문을 발표했다.
29일 발표된 세계평화통일가정연합 한국협회 측의 입장문에서 “윤영호 전 세계본부장이 단독으로 기소된 형사사건의 제1심 재판부는, 윤영호가 권성동 의원과 김건희 씨에게 금품을 전달한 혐의에 대해 유죄 판결을 선고하였습니다. 한국가정연합은 전직 간부가 형사처벌을 받게 된 사안에 대해 무거운 책임을 통감하며, 조직 내부의 일탈 행위를 사전에 발견하고 차단하지 못한 점에 대해 깊은 유감을 표합니다. 이번 일을 계기로 내부 통제와 감시 체계를 전면적으로 점검하고 있으며, 재정 운영의 투명성과 거버넌스 체계를 한층 더 강화하기 위해 제도적 개선에 최선을 다하겠습니다.”고 피력했다.
