경기도의회 출장비 조작 의혹에 수사받던 의회 직원 사망
노조, “의원들의 지시나 묵인 없인 회계조작 불가능” 입장
전국공무원노동조합 경기도청지부가 경기도의회 직원 A씨의 죽음과 관련 철저한 진상 규명을 촉구하고 나섰다.
지부는 지난 20일 성명을 통해 "경기도의회는 사건의 경위와 원인을 명확히 밝히고 수사·감사, 업무 지시와 관리 체계 전반에 걸친 구조적 문제와 책임 소재를 분명히 해야 한다"고 말했다. 이어 "저연차 직원이 경찰 조사 과정에서 감당했을 압박과 고통은 결코 가볍지 않았을 것"이라며 "업무의 연장선상에서 벌어진 사안인데도 그 부담은 온전히 개인에게 떠넘겨졌다"고 주장했다. 또한 "더 이상의 희생이 발생하지 않도록 즉각적이고 실효성 있는 재발 방지 대책을 마련해야 한다"면서 "고인의 삶과 존엄이 헛되지 않도록 끝까지 책임을 묻고 행동으로 답하겠다"고 강조했다.
