브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= ‘한국 영화계의 큰 별’이자 ‘국민 배우’로 불린 고(故) 안성기가 수많은 영화인들의 눈물 속 마지막 배웅을 받으며 영면에 들었다.
9일 오전 서울 중구 명동성당에서는 고 안성기의 장례 미사와 영결식이 엄수됐다. 이날 장례 기간 내내 빈소를 지킨 정우성은 영정을, 이정재는 금관문화훈장을 들었다. 설경구, 박철민, 유지태, 박해일, 조우진, 주지훈은 운구를 맡았고, 현빈, 변요한, 정준호, 한예리 등 많은 후배들도 참석해 고인의 마지막 길을 배웅했다.
영결식에서는 공동 장례위원인 배창호 감독과 정우성이 추모사를 낭독했고, 고인의 장남인 안다빈 씨가 유족 대표로 인사하고 헌화했다. 특히 안다빈 씨는 생전 고인이 자신에게 남긴 편지를 낭독하며 눈물을 보였다.
장례 미사와 영결식을 마친 뒤에는 서울추모공원에서 화장 절차가 진행되며, 이후 고인은 장지인 양평 별그리다에서 영면에 든다.

한편, ‘국민 배우’ 안성기는 지난 5일 오전 9시 별세했다. 향년 74세.
고인은 지난해 12월 30일 심정지 상태로 병원으로 후송돼 중환자실에서 치료를 받아왔으나, 입원 엿새만인 이날 오전 가족들이 지켜보는 가운데 숨을 거뒀다. 안성기는 지난 2019년 혈액암 진단을 받고 투병해왔다. 이듬해 완치 판정을 받았으나, 추적 관촬 중 암이 재발해 재차 투병 중이었으나 끝내 하늘의 별이 됐다.
1957년 김기영 감독의 영화 ‘황혼열차’로 데뷔한 안성기는 ‘고래사냥’, ‘칠수와 만수’, ‘투캅스’, ‘인정사정 볼 것 없다’, ‘무사’, ‘피아노 치는 대통령’, ‘실미도’, ‘라디오 스타’, ‘부러진 화살’, ‘신의 한 수’, ‘카시오페아’ 등 약 170여편의 영화에 출연하며 대한민국을 대표하는 ‘국민 배우’로 불리며 큰 사랑을 받았다.
