브레이크뉴스 박동제 기자= 대한체육회는 8일 “지난 6일부터 7일까지 이틀간 서울 프레이저 플레이스 센트럴 서울 서대문홀에서 ‘스포츠클럽 육성사업 시도체육회 간담회’를 개최했다”고 밝혔다.
이번 간담회는 스포츠클럽 육성사업의 주요 이해관계자인 시도체육회 스포츠클럽 업무 담당자들의 의견을 적극적으로 청취하기 위해 마련된 최초의 간담회로, 올해 사업의 주요 추진방향을 공유하고 운영 과정에서의 애로사항과 우수사례를 나누며 협업체계 강화를 도모하기 위한 자리로 거듭났다.
간담회에는 17개 시도체육회 관계자 40여 명이 참석했다. 2026년 스포츠클럽 육성사업 세부사업별 지침과 올해 공모 관련 실무 사항, 지정 스포츠클럽의 질적 향상을 위한 부정수급 방지 교육 등의 교육 세션이 진행됐다.
세부 내용으로는 ▲단체구기종목 영재발굴 프로젝트 사업과 관련한 우수사례 공유 ▲2026년 세부사업 평가를 위한 스포츠클럽 행정지원 시스템 활용법 ▲부정 수급 방지를 위한 사례 중심 교육 등 실무 중심의 주제를 포함했다.
또한 식사 시간 및 세션 사이에는 시도체육회 간 교류 강화를 위한 시간을 마련, 참가자들이 자유롭게 정보를 공유하고 스포츠클럽의 발전 방안에 대해 의견을 나눌 수 있도록 했다.
유승민 대한체육회 회장은 “각 지역사회의 생활체육활동 참여 기회를 확대하기 위해 정부가 스포츠클럽법을 제정·시행한지도 어느덧 4년차에 접어들었다”며 “대한체육회는 앞으로도 시도체육회와 함께 정부 및 지자체와 적극 협력하여 풀뿌리 생활체육에서 전문선수로 이어지는 체육 선순환 구조를 구축하기 위해 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
대한체육회는 “이번 간담회는 문화체육관광부와 국민체육진흥공단의 재정후원으로 진행됐며, 대한체육회는 앞으로도 스포츠클럽 활성화 및 질적 향상을 위해 지속적으로 노력할 계획이다”고 전했다.
