브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 차기 국민의힘 대선 후보를 노리는 홍준표 대구시장이 16일 "'윤통'(윤석열 대통령)은 어떤 평가를 받을까? 속단하기는 이르지만 아마 윤통도 좌파들의 집단적 광기의 희생자라고 보지 않을까?"라고 밝혔다.
홍 시장은 이날 자신의 페이스북을 통해 "전·노(전두환·노태우)야 쿠데타로 갔으니 갈만했다고 생각되지만, 이명박·박근혜(전 대통령)는 좌파들의 집단적 광기로 인한 피해자들이었기 때문에 억울한 감옥살이였다. 지나고 나서는 문재인(전 대통령)의 정치 보복이었다고 느끼는 국민들이 참 많았다"라며 이같이 전했다.
그러면서 "공교롭게도 다섯 명 모두 보수 우파 진영 출신 대통령들이었다"라고 적었다.
홍 시장은 전날 윤 대통령이 체포된 것과 관련해서는 "해방 이후 다섯 번째로 구치소로 간 대통령 생각에 (어젯밤은) 잠을 잘 이루지 못했다"라고 밝혔다.
그는 윤 대통령을 향해 "그러나 갈 때 가더라도 일국의 대통령답게 당당하고 담대하게 대처하시라"라며 "업보라고 생각하시고 대승적으로 대처하시라"라고 썼다.
