【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자=보은군은 14일 경기도 광주시 소재 자연채 푸드팜센터 교육장에서 광주시와 로컬푸드 활성화를 위한 업무협약을 체결했다.
군은 지난해 6월 광주시와 자치단체 공동 발전을 위한 자매결연을 맺고 다양한 협력과 교류 확대를 통한 상생의 기틀을 마련했다.
이번 협약은 자매결연의 일환으로 지난 7월 광주시에 준공된 ‘광주시 자연채 푸드팜 센터’에 보은군의 청정 농식품 상설매장 설치에 대한 내용을 담고 있으며 군은 2월 납품을 목표로 세부계획 마련, 참여농가 모집 및 품목 선정 등을 추진해 나갈 계획이다.
자연채 푸드팜 센터는 연면적 2만 5,515㎡, 지하 1층, 지상 4층 규모로 지하 1층과 지상 1층에는 농산물직매장(626㎡)을 비롯해 지역 식자재를 활용한 요리교실, 레스토랑, 카페 및 교육장을 운영하고 있다.
개장 이후 5개월 만에 1,300여 명의 회원을 확보하고 매출액 10억원을 넘기는 등 지역 내 소비자에게 많은 사랑을 받고 있어 이번 협약을 통해 보은군 농가소득 확대 및 판로개척에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 예상된다.
