브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 여당인 국민의힘이 10일 더불어민주당이 재발의한 '내란 특검법'을 "차마 '법률안'이라고 부르기도 민망한 수준의 위헌·졸속적 악법"이라고 비판했다.
신동욱 국민의힘 수석대변인은 이날 논평을 통해 이같이 밝히며 "정권 찬탈을 위해서는 무슨 짓이라도 하겠다는 민주당의 속내가 이번 법안에도 여과 없이 드러나 있다"라고 했다.
신 수석대변인은 해당 법안의 문제점으로 크게 3가지를 들었다.
우선 "수사 대상이 비정상적으로 광범위하고 무한대로 확장할 가능성이 있다"라며 "무한 확장이 가능한 수사 범위에도 불구하고, 수사 기간과 수사관은 축소하는 앞뒤가 전혀 맞지 않는 주먹구구식 법안"이라고 지적했다.
또 "군사기밀보호법과 국가정보원법상에 규정된, 즉 국익을 위해 절대로 지켜야 하는 기본적인 제한 요소까지 삭제한 반국가적 법안"이라는 것이다.
신 수석대변인은 "특히 민주당의 이번 대안에서는 사건 관련 고소·고발 건까지 모두 수사할 수 있게 했다는 점 때문에 '사실상 민주당과 민주당 성향 단체 직속의 무소불위의 수사기관을 새로 만드는 셈'이라는 지적까지 나오고 있다"라며 "'대국민 보고' 조항을 두어서 피의 사실을 무차별적으로 공표할 수 있게 한 것도 법률 위반 문제를 반드시 야기할 것"이라고 주장했다.
이어 "납치·고문·발포·외환유치 등 아니면 말고 식, 공포 조장 식 용어가 대거 삽입돼 있는 점도 큰 문제"라며 "내란 행위를 선전·선동했다는 내용까지 포함하는 부분은 언론 기사에 일반적 댓글을 게재한 평범한 국민들도 대거 민주당 입맛대로 수사·처벌할 수 있는 악법 요소"라고 했다.
그러면서 "국민의힘은 민주당이 이런 식으로 계속 국민을 현혹하고 위헌·위법적 특검 법안을 내놓는다면, 국민과 함께 결연히 막아설 수밖에 없다는 점을 거듭 경고한다"라고 밝혔다.
