윤석열 대통령 지지율이 40%를 넘어섰다는 여론조사 결과가 나왔다. 더불어민주당의 입법 횡포와 정부 고위직 인사들에 대한 줄탄핵, 급기야 위법성 논란을 낳고 있는 현직 대통령에 대한 무리한 체포 시도에 따른 강한 반감과 동정론이 작용하며 윤 대통령 지지층이 결집하는 것으로 풀이된다.
데일리안이 여론조사 전문기관 '공정'에 의뢰해 지난 6~7일 이틀간 조사한 바에 따르면 윤 대통령을 '지지한다'는 답변은 42.4%(매우 지지 34.0%, 어느 정도 지지 8.4%)로 집계됐다. 반면 '지지하지 않는다'는 응답은 55.8%(매우 지지하지 않음 52.2%, 거의 지지하지 않음 3.6%)를 차지했다. '잘 모르겠다'는 반응은 1.8%였다.
이를 연령대별 찬반 비율로 살펴보면, 20대 이하(43.1% : 55.6%), 30대(43.3% : 55.4%), 40대(25.9% : 73.0%), 50대(39.4% : 59.0%), 60대(50.1% : 47.7%), 70대 이상(55.0% : 41.5%)를 나타냈다. 60대와 70세 이상에서는 윤 대통령 지지율이 과반이 넘었다.
지역별 찬반 비율에 있어서는, 서울(43.2% : 54.8%), 인천 : 경기(38,1% : 59.8%), 대전·세종·충남북(43.5% : 56.5%), 광주·전남북(31.2% : 68.8%), 대구·경북(52.0% : 46.9%), 부산·울산·경남(48.8% : 47.1%), 강원·제주(51.4% : 48.6%)를 보였다.
정치 성향별 지지율을 보면, 국민의힘 지지층의 89.1%가 윤 대통령을 지지하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면 민주당 지지층의 96.3%, 조국혁신당 95.6%, 개혁신당 73.5%, 진보당 51.1% 순으로 윤 대통령을 지지하지 않는다고 답했다. 지지하는 정당에 따라 큰 폭의 차이를 보이고 있다.

같은 조사에서 정당 지지율은 국민의힘 41.0%, 민주당 38.9%였다. 그 외 조국혁신당 4.7%, 개혁신당 3.0%, 진보당 1.0%를 기록했다. 같은 기관의 직전 조사와 비교했을 때 국민의힘은 10.7%p 상승했고, 민주당은 5.2%p 하락했다. 국민의힘은 모든 연령과 지역에서 상승세를 보인 반면, 민주당은 텃밭인 호남에서조차 8.0%p 하락하며 선두 자리를 내줬다.
