브레이크뉴스 임국정 기자 = 우원식 국회의장이 14일 윤석열 대통령 탄핵소추안을 국회 본회의에 상정하며 "한 분도 빠짐없이 투표에 참여해 주시길 바란다"라고 당부했다.
우 의장은 이날 국회 본회의에 참석해 "오늘 의원들께서 받아들 투표용지의 무게가 그 어느 때보다 무겁다. 역사의 무게이고, 민주주의의 무게"라며 이같이 말했다.
여당인 국민의힘 의원들 대부분이 지난 7일 있었던 1차 대통령 탄핵안 표결에 당론에 따라 불참했던 사실을 지적한 것이다.
우 의장은 또 "대한민국은 지금 길 위에 서 있다. 어떤 길로 향할지 마음 졸이는 시간"이라며 "그러나 길은 늘 국민 속에 있다. 그것이 대한민국의 역사다. 그래서 대한민국은 강하다"라고 주장했다.
