광양경자청, 일본 잠재투자기업 대상 투자유치 활동

(브레이크뉴스 광주·전남) 이학수 기자=광양만권경제자유구역청(광양경자청)은 지난 12일 일본 오사카에 소재한 공장 자동화 설비 제조 전문기업 ㈜즈이코(Zuiko.co. 대표 우메바야시 토요시)를 방문해 대표를 면담하고 투자협의(사진)를 진행했다고 밝혔다.

㈜즈이코는 아기 기저귀, 여성 위생용품, 냅킨 등을 생산하는 공장설비를 전문으로 제조하는 기업으로 광양경자청 투자유치단은 광양만권의 투자환경 및 제조여건에 대해 설명하는 자리를 가졌다.

또한 현재 광양만권에 입주의향을 가지고 협의를 진행중인 A기업과의 협력 및 투자 가능성에 대해서도 심도있게 논의했다.

이번 협의는 양 기업간의 비즈니스 프로젝트의 투자실현을 이끌어내기 위한 노력의 일환으로 추진되었으며 일본의 산업 전문지인 산교타임즈(Sangyo Times)의 엄재한 서울지국장의 도움으로 진행됐다.

구충곤 광양경제청장은 ㈜즈이코의 대표이사와 임원진에게 광양만권 및 전남도의 산업여건과 정주여건 확인을 위한 GFEZ 방문을 요청하였고 “광양경자청은 투자계획 실현을 위한 구체적인 대응 방안을 모색, 협력해 나갈 예정이다” 라고 밝혔다.
