(무안=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=전남도는 11일 목포농수산물유통센터에서 2024년 사랑의 김장김치 나누기 행사가 열렸다고 밝혔다.
행사에는 박민서 전남사회복지협의회장과 정라미 전남도지사 부인, 사회복지시설 종사자 등 700여 명이 참석했다.(사진)
정라미 여사는 2년 연속 사랑의 김장김치 나누기 행사에 동참해 함께 김치를 버무리며, 사회복지시설 종사자를 격려했다.
사랑의 김장김치 나누기는 2014년부터 시작해 겨울철을 앞두고 매년 50톤 규모의 김장김치를 담가 사회복지시설, 지역아동센터 등에 나누고 있다.
올해는 전남사회복지공동모금회에서 3억 5천만 원을 후원해 5천500박스(53.8톤)의 김장김치를 담갔다. 후원금은 지난해보다 5천만 원 늘어난 규모로, 사회복지시설 430개소에 김장김치를 나누게 된다.
정라미 여사는 “도움이 필요한 이웃이 외롭고 힘든 겨울이 되지 않도록 모두의 따뜻한 사랑과 관심이 필요하다”며 “사랑이 담긴 김장김치 드시고 따뜻한 연말연시 보내길 바란다”고 말했다.
한편 전남도는 겨울철 한파에 대비해 취약계층 보호 대책을 본격 가동했으며, 소외되는 도민 없이 따뜻한 겨울나기를 위해 민간단체 등과 협력해 맞춤형 지원에 나서고 있다.
실직·장애·질병·생활고 등으로 도움이 필요한 도민은 주소지 읍면동 사무소, 이통반장, 우리동네 복지기동대나 위기가구 지원콜을 통해 도움을 받을 수 있다.
