또한, 지난해부터 28억 원의 예산을 투입하여 반값 농자재 지원사업으로 농가의 생산비 부담을 줄였으며, △먹거리 선순환 체계 구축을 위한 먹거리 통합지원센터 건립, △로컬푸드 직매장, 농가 레스토랑, 공유 부엌 소포장 가공센터 등을 운영하고 있다.
이 밖에도 농협조합장과 함께하는 지역농업발전 협의회에 참석하여 농민들의 불편 사항 해결을 위해 노력했으며, 통합과 화합의 시너지를 바탕으로 농업 행정을 펼치고 있다.
