【충북 브레이크뉴스】임창용 기자= 충북도는 9일 청남대 영빈관에서 ‘충북형 도시농부 대회’를 개최했다고 밝혔다.
이번 행사는 도시농부 2만 명 모집을 기념으로 우수 시군 및 도시농부 격려와 표창, 연간 성과보고, 향후 도시농부 발전 방안 간담회로 진행됐다.
사업 홍보 및 활성화에 기여한 5개 시군 시상과 도시농부 중개센터 관계자 및 도시농부 공로자 32명에게 표창을 수여했다.
금년도 충북형 도시농부의 주요 성과와 추진 과정(도시농부 2만 명 모집, 현장 중심 홍보, 제주도 감귤 일손 지원, 대설 피해복구 등)을 담은 영상을 공유했다.
향후 도시농부 활성화를 위한 간담회 시간도 가졌다. 김영환 지사는 도시농부, 구인 농가, 유관기관 등과 다양한 의견을 교환하면서 사업 발전 방안을 모색했다.

충북형 도시농부는 전국 최초 도농상생형 일자리 정책으로 도시의 유휴인력을 도시농부로 육성하여 일손이 부족한 농촌에 인력을 지원하는 사업이다.
도시농부 2만 명 모집, 연 15만여 명의 일손 지원으로 영농철 농촌 일손 부족 문제 해결, 농번기 농작업 인건비 폭등 방지 및 안정화, 대설 등 긴급 농업재해 복구, 관외자 참여로 인한 도내 소비 활성화 , 귀농·귀촌 예정자 농작업 참여 실습 제공 등 농가-도시농부 모두가 체감하면서 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.
충북도 관계자는 “올해에 이어 내년에도 도시농부 사업을 확대 추진할 계획이라며 농작업 현장 의견을 적극 수렴하여 사업을 보완하고, 소규모 농가 홍보, 농작업 중 안전사고 예방을 위한 산재보험 가입 권고 등을 통해 사업의 완성도를 높여가겠다.”라고 말했다.
